I'm sorry to hear that....
My mom was different. She didn't take any kind of maltreatment from men. And she had to correct my father who in their early days thought that he could have her as a punching bag. She set him straight for life.

my father's abuse has affected my relationship with my husband if he seems angry at something i clam up fearing the worst.
