all with 40+ TEST cricket averages as well as 40+ ODI averages 8)

Listen no one can question that number but you select players on merit and not what they did.
Fact is Sarwan has been woeful for at least 3 years. His chance against Zimbabwe was appalling!
If you wish to dispute this then defend it with facts.
You bigplop/Rev You have said about not being led by emotions and I agree.

When you are 8, or wanting to rise you select your best players and Sarwan is not one of those!
