Can you point me to a verse in the Qur'an that says that so I can have a look.
If you cannot then it might be best to find the reference and context which normally means you have to read the whole thing.
None of the teachings advise what you have suggested.

I do not want to confront anyone but just to let them know, in this case, we cannot gets Islam confused with the practices of some Muslims. What is said has to be cross referenced in the Qur'an and the Hadiths. The latter is akin to, but not the same, as the red letter bible.
If they are not here then it is false. Some Muslims do do and say things which are not in the authentic teachings, so for anyone wanting to know the truth it has to be in the Qur'an and Hadiths.
I am not preaching boys but just sharing what I know. Ketchim has been at this longer than me so he can correct us if I am wrong.

I have to respect the teachings these boys have been bought up in, as they had no choice much like me and Christianity. Islamic teaching is of respect and tolerance so my brothers Kwams and Googs are fully part of that ethos and family.
However and interestingly enough, the teachings of the Vedas, the highest book in Hinduism, talk about monotheism and no images of God.
Happy to supply the references to the Vedas if required.

As in?
I mean the guy averages in the 30s in List A, that isn't that impressive, is it? I don't know, I'm not convinced yet. I know that he's capable, but I don't think he's done anything significant to show that he's worthy of selection in ODIs.
And even FC, to put things in perspective, Worcs - IIRC - used to be in the second tier, right?

This is what I mean about giving English lads a chance instead of this obsession with those fleeing the aftermath of apartheid who would have otherwise have stayed there and reap the ill rewards.
Had apartheid not fallen they would not, the Saffers, would not be playing test cricket.
I see we still continue with the Lumb and Dernbach especially the last one who is a walking failure.

[/quote] Hinduism has many gods and what makes you think that monotheism is some how the gold standard . We Hindus do not allow ourselves to be defined by the Abrahamic faiths that has the concept of monotheism
