No team has chased 250plus vs Pakistan in Tests in last 20 years.
Pakistan's record while defending 250+ targets since 2000 is:
Matches 34
Won 26
Draw 8
Lost 0

With this present Pakistan Test team you wonder how much of a free hand Azhar Ali has in taking decisions on the field without the constant interference from the heavy-duty coaching staff. His captaincy certainly seemed hampered as a result during the Tests in Australia

PAK : 236
ENG : 7/1
Day 4: Rain, Rain, Rain !
England trail by 229 runs. CRR: 1.4
3.50pm: Play has been abandonded, apparently the groundstaff have concluded it would take 2.5-3 hours
to get the pitch ready mopping up the outfield potentially longer. So we'll cash our chips on day four
and come back to try again in the morning.
This game has got D-R-A-W stamped all over it ~~

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Burns, and this time there's no reprieve for Burns! This is so, so good. Shaping away from off stump
and Burns' defensive prod goes straight to Asad Shafiq at second slip at waist height. England lose one early!

There will be no tea interval. There are 56 overs left in the game. The last hour starts at 6pm or after 41 overs have been bowled, which ever is later. I presume hands will be shaken some time before that.

Shake on a DRAW
Mohammad Rizwan is named Man of the Match for his sparkling 72:
"Thanks to Allah, worked hard for this kind of team effort, unfortunately the game wasn't fully played
but was looking forward to full contest. Tough keeping in England, first time, I have worked extra and
used the tape ball because it's lighter and wobbles in the air. [Third Test?]
Looking forward to it, playing good cricket and want to take positives into that game."

Root to Asad Shafiq, Root's got a wicket! Taken smartly at bat-pad! Shafiq props forward tamely and gets a thin edge on to front pad...
