yesterday was 40 years since I walked off the guyana airways plane and touched Canadian soil!!!
which was the week after I got married !
40 year honeymoon ;D
Like my marriage - I have no regrets - We have been good for Canada and Canada has been good for us.

I wish I had a copy of the Guyana newspapers ;
Both their pics were there for topping Common Entrance marks as 11 year olds.
No one wouldda dream that after A levels graduation : they would meet and get married as 19 year olds !
