Re: Aus vs NZ - CWC2015 Finals Preview - Calypso - 03-27-2015
M.S. Dhoni names one man that AUS need to be prepared for ........... and it's not Brendan McCullum !!! Nor is it Boult or Southee !!
It is the specialist spinner albeit one aged 36 with a crook back, a sore finger and who will be writing the last chapter of a long and lustrous career story.

That hardly sounds like good preparation for an away final. They really should have tried to schedule some matches that would prepare them for the conditions they were likely to face when they had to leave the security of home soil for such an important match.

One AUS away game and one NZ away game. Strange scheduling of matches between the co-hosts but I guess it was an unknown that it would end as a trans-Tasman final in this way and ICC probably didn't expect this !!

Like everything I expect there was "horse trading" regarding where the final would be. I am sure it was decided long ago and big brother Oz prevailed.
It would be quite nice to see NZ win it and if they do it will be well deserved.
