Re: West Indies Cricket needs more than Clive Lloyd as Selector by Garfield Robinson - mapoui - 08-29-2014 Pollard, the Bravos, Simmons, Narine, Ramdin, Rampaul..are all internationally rated players at least top 100 ODI...if not top 50 or 60! who else in the region rated as highly.....Gayle, Roach, Benn, Shillingford, Miller, Cottrell, Kraigg, Dowrich, Tongue, Martin, Carlos Braithwaite, Andre Russell, Tino Best, Fidel Edwards, Kirk Edwards.....any of the Guyanese...Shive, Sarwan ::confused:: ::confused:: ::confused:: ::confused:: none thats who..none! who are the guyanese that shud replace any of the Tricky 7 ::confused:: shive were he considered. he may now be considered with Lloyd up in there. Sarwan ::confused:: no! who in their right minds would select Beaton for ODI when Holder as all round is a better prospect ::confused:: and there are more Trickys to be considered. Badree would be a wonderful ODI bowler..not just T20. Kevon Cooper as all rounder..as well as the kids coming up Pooran, Lewis, Hosein etc it is just Titty time at a generally low overall west indian point. too bad deh were not all world beaters so west indies could be on top of the world. when Guyana and Barbados dominated all the places on the west indies side it was all right eh. no one complained when frequently ethere wre no Yardys or Tittys on the side..or one alone. we did nto bawl nd cry and shout and kerry orn. we took it in stride. now its our time when we have a few good players relative to Guyana and Bim and I never hear so much bawlin' in my life! oh jesus crise! the noise reaching the rafters > > >![]() oh guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. its only cricket! supposes the flyin' fish was allyuh own den. it wud be hot war ketchim ::confused:: ::confused:: ::confused:: oh my! ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL:: Re: West Indies Cricket needs more than Clive Lloyd as Selector by Garfield Robinson - ketchim - 08-29-2014
when Guyana and Barbados dominated all the places on the west indies side it was all right eh.
They were Winners : NOT in the dungeons of ICC ranking ! # 8 outta 10 currently ? ....Zim and Bang occupying de 2 last places ? I would NOT brag IF I was a Trini ![]() Disgraceful. Re: West Indies Cricket needs more than Clive Lloyd as Selector by Garfield Robinson - mapoui - 08-29-2014 man jess keep yuh shirt on eh..and get BG to produce some more world class players. thats the key. another Kanhai, Gibbs and Sarwan would kick all the Trickys right out of the side..unless we too start produce top world class players Re: West Indies Cricket needs more than Clive Lloyd as Selector by Garfield Robinson - ketchim - 08-29-2014 Lemme reiterate : Insularity and WICB politics have kept damn good players OUT .... re·it·er·ate verb say something again or a number of times, typically for emphasis or clarity. 8) Re: West Indies Cricket needs more than Clive Lloyd as Selector by Garfield Robinson - ketchim - 08-29-2014 http://www.gocricket.com/news/West-Indies-cricket-Gordon-Greenidge-wants-free-rein-for-Clive-Lloyd/articleshow/41110886.cms "I just hope that whoever it is can mould the group into a better fighting unit. It's been very fragmented over the years and hopefully the new coach can make a difference and we can get away from the insular thinking." I would NOT brag IF I was a Trini Disgraceful.
man I admitted that. it is what we have now and in the mix the Tittys are best. what the hell am I bragging about ::confused:: I am not unhappy that Titty have some decent players now. and some of them are very good..test class. Narine would be good and competitve in any west indian period of cricket. Ramdin too. back with Worrell or Lloyd they wud have made Ramdin play long time now. he would have realised his full potential and have had a better record than Murray for example..and wud have deprived Dujon of a chance. back in the day lil Bravo too would have been made already into a complete and dominant batsman. Rampaul would have had a hard time. too much great pace around. but so would every fast bowler we have now in the west indies Re: West Indies Cricket needs more than Clive Lloyd as Selector by Garfield Robinson - ketchim - 08-29-2014 Greenidge said it was painful to see the way West Indies cricket had slumped since the halcyon days under Lloyd and his successor as skipper, Viv Richards. "Words fail me, it's extremely disappointing to see what we have become compared to where we were," :'( Re: West Indies Cricket needs more than Clive Lloyd as Selector by Garfield Robinson - ketchim - 08-29-2014
Rampaul would have had a hard time. too much great pace around.
Pollard would be nowhere with those horrible stats after 90+ games. Simmo is a T20 specialist ! Big Bravo is a bits and pieces so called ALL rounder...and a worse Captain. Good for the Gallery , though ! Re: West Indies Cricket needs more than Clive Lloyd as Selector by Garfield Robinson - mapoui - 08-29-2014 so why are you making so much noise blaming Titty for the state of affairs ::confused:: ::confused:: how in the hell does 7 Titty players selected responsible for all the problems in west indies cricket according to you ::confused:: those 7 are among the best of the global lot, so rated internationally..among all the players in the world. what else do you want ::confused:: Re: West Indies Cricket needs more than Clive Lloyd as Selector by Garfield Robinson - mapoui - 08-29-2014
Pollard would be nowhere with those horrible stats after 90+ games. Bravo has just won even if it is bang. the team played very well indeed...oiled. lets see what LLoyd does.... |
