Yes I remember the uprising Cal. The police station and post office still had the bullet holes when I left the Rupununi in the early 80s.
Diane McTurk was still around. Edwina Melville was still living in Lethem and the rest of the Melvilles were scattered in Boa Vista and Bom Fim, in Brazil.
The Harts, I think, ran off to Venezuela and settled there.
