Re: Two Tier system - 7643664 - 09-07-2016 No two division in Tests, it seems. Cricket missing a chance to get some sort of structure. Short-termism and selfishness rules. Again Re: Two Tier system - ketchim - 09-07-2016 Was the two-tier idea for Test cricket a good one?

Yes, it would have made the format more competitive Total votes: 12502

Re: Two Tier system - ketchim - 09-08-2016 http://www.espncricinfo.com/india/content/story/1055125.html Pros and Cons ::yawn:: Re: Two Tier system - dillinger10 - 09-08-2016 I would be curious to hear from the Zimbabwe cricket board as to why they voted against the two-tier system? Surely they have nothing to lose by agreeing to a two-tiered system as they don't play any of the big three now as it is and this would have at least guaranteed them regular Test matches. Same goes for Bangladesh - they have played a grand total of nine Test matches over the last two years. Ultimately, the BCCI gets what they want - keeping the Associates from gaining Test status and preventing a pooling of the TV revenue shares. Re: Two Tier system - cardinals27 - 09-08-2016 I don't understand why Zimbabwe would vote against it. I feel like the only thing it would do for them is help them. |
