Religion should not intrude on dietary preferances, eat whatever the hell you like . I know that Islam prohibits eating of pork because of split feet unlike cows , sheep or goats which has cloven hooves. I might be wrong in that it might be the jews who has this dietary edict .
My point is that if pigs can be genetically modify to have cloven hooves , would it be approriate to eat them ?
