Re: Irom Sharmila - ketchim - 05-09-2012 I never heard an african Guyanese shout dat : Y'all Bobbicians gat de Inferiority complex  I am Guyanese... End of story. Re: Irom Sharmila - ketchim - 05-09-2012 All the Guyanese on this Forum : Have y'all ever heard a black male OR female shout : Mother Africa ??? Re: Irom Sharmila - ketchim - 05-09-2012 In my experience , I never once heard a single Afro Guyanese : Yearn to VISIT Africa.... like their Coolie counterpart ... Even when relocated to North America: dem still yearn to visit India ... : : Re: Irom Sharmila - Nargis - 05-10-2012 well i dont know about other ppl - but i know Guyanese always say their Guyanese - indian and afro. i dont identify myself as "indian" from india to anyone - i always say "Guyanese" if they want to know more they can ask or google it - i could care less. India is the land that our ancestors came from for sure, but i say i am going "back home" - i am referencing Guyana. Having said that, it is nice to travel and visit all countries including india, middle east and Africa. One day i hope to go to on a safari. funny though i am more comfy around afro ppl than indos. Weird.
