Stokes and Hales will not be selected for England until further notice. Does not necessarily mean Stokes is out of the Ashes

Stokes is a mad man. He spends half that fight hitting the wrong person, someone who was not wielding a bottle and who was trying to stop the fight. He is lucky he only knocked the guy unconcious. As for the guy holding the bottle; Stokes has a legal right to defend himself, but once the guy is disarmed and on the floor, you can't repeatedly bash him in the face. He could easily have killed both those guys.
Hales is another idiot, kicking a man repeatedly in the head when he's down.
The ECB did the right thing in quickly dropping these two for the Ashes. As a cricket fan, though, this is bad news; Stokes in Australia would have been fun to see.

Maybe the two guys Stokes attacked haven't come forward and asked for Stokes to be charged. I think the police also released Stokes before they saw the footage.

maybe indeed. but if england is like it is here the police no longer need anyone - victim(s)- to come forward to charge anyone..or to drop charges once they are made.
once the police are satisfied a law has been breached that's it.
like if you beat yuh wife and you are charged..then she comes forward later and try to drop the charges... she cant. the charges stand as long as the cops believe a law has been breached.
maybe they had not seen the video but the first things police do at a brawl is canvass witnesses. while they stop the fight if they need to others are in among the witnesses. and when they know right there they act.
video is extra...smoking gun. but now dat deh have the smoking gun still no charges! Stokes is a lucky man..and one insane MF. so is the other a**hole Hales.
