Kirstan Kallicharan scored another half century – 70 runs – to lead his East Zone Under-15 team to a 141-run win over their Central Zone and book a place in the finals of the BG T&T Under-15 InterZone.
And South East Zone booked the other final spot when they posted a 67 run victory over North Zone at Sancho Recreation Ground.
Back at Bamboo Recreation Ground, yesterday, the 14-year-old Kallicharan, recently named in the Trinidad and Tobago Under-17 squad, slammed 70 to spearhead the East’s 202 second innings score which gave Central a target of 282.

Do you guys rate him?
His average is boosted by a single test against Bangladesh where he scored a 60+ and 40+ and whatever the opposition you still have to apply yourself.
After one test he had a sterner test against the Saffers away from home against Steyn, Philander, Morkel and Abbott!
He did not look great, to me but, at that early stage in his career you would expect a bedding in period and a bit of a run.
He average almost 40 in his 4 tests which is good by any standards, particularly West Indian!
Why had this lad dropped off the radar and not selected since?
Is it because the tour was followed by a domestic season where he was rubbish?
