I went on a training course at a factory that shared the same factory ground with one of the Heineken beer manufacturing plant. I gave up drinking Heineken the week after that. I learnt at the factory that the foam on some of their beers was artificially created and then pumped into the liquid. This makes the beer look fresh no matter how old it is.

We all know that after a while ads become stale and people eventually don't take notice as they used to do before. It's expected that fresh ideas will be needed to capture additional market share. Therefore, there will come a time when an add will have to be retired to make way for a new creation.
