Root has already captained Yorkshire and the Lions team and there has been plenty of speculation that he will eventually captain England at some point in the near future.
If I remember correctly Beefy is England's youngest ever ODI captain at age 24.

Yuh think Baby Joe can handle that pressure at this stage of his career? Mind you he does seem to have a great temperament. Hope it wouldn't affect his batting like it's affected Cooky's.
