I do not see any comparison.
Smith is attacking, always on the look out to score, has a pretty good technique, a healthy strike rate and entertaining to watch.
If fact compared to Chanderpaul he is very orthodox.
If anything Smith reminds me more of Greg Blewett.
Prior to Shiv there was a chap called Sheikh Basharat Hassan (Basher Hassan) for Notts with a similar stance....
