Okay fair enough. But the whole point about Brand and Carlin is that they were/are offering critique of politicians and political rhetoric against that of the popular narrative. The politicians want to suppress this type of dissention. They would rather have you listen to Fox News or CNN where you just don't hear deconstruction of politicians and political speeches.
And I still don't see any connection between the success of Brand and Carlin as comedians and their political views. You have quite a lot of work to do in order to prove that nexus other than offering sparse generalizations.
And your boy Thomas Sowell's quote perfectly describes politicians; not comedians.

You're missing the point. It's not about being a fan or not of Brand or Carlin or whomever. It's about people like Brand who offer a dissenting alternative voice to the mainstream rhetoric of "Terrorists" "ISIS taking over the Middle East" "Defending our soil" etc etc. It's a crying shame that dissent and critique of the type given by Brand is not found in the mainsteam media.
On the other hand you seem to fear such people instead of the money grubbing thieving politicians. It's bizarre to say the least.

All I know is that I'm safe and sound in America. That America is filled with full of shit people and policies, but no individual has to participate in it unless they want to, so there's real freedom and advantages for those who can grasp it. I'm not going to stand on my head over some shit going on in the middle east.
