For me the yardstick would be how they played spin in India.
I am not sure in Weeks' and Sobers' time Windies pitches were spinning pitches apart from QPO.
There are far too many variables so the numbers are not absolute.
However based on the above criteria the list looks quite different.

Well I don't know who to say is the best player of spin but from what I have seen then I would say Chanderpaul and Lara. The current team doesn't really struggle against spin expect for Gayle and a few others. I think Chanderpaul's batting style makes him good against all type of bowlers.
