I am trying to understand how he had the opportunity to abuse these women
i have personaly gone 'under the knife' five times!!
and what i recall from each time is being in the OR surrounded by nurses and doctors when the anesthetic was administered.
mind you....once i was under i don't know if everyone left and only the Anaesthesiologist stayed with me at any time before the surgery started
how come this guy was not caught earlier by anyone else who worked in the hospital??

I haven't followed this case very closely but Brian is indeed a brilliant criminal defence lawyer.
It's often said in Canadian legal circles that Eddie gets the publicity and Brian gets the victories. 8)
But a case like this would involve many experts to give opinion evidence. It seems as if the Crown's experts were able to convince the jurors beyond a reasonable doubt that these were indeed sexual attacks and not merely hallucinations.
From what I heard in the news he is appealing only the terms/length of his sentence and not the guilty verdict.
