Sarwan, who looked set for a big score in only his second match since leading Guyana to the CPL

struck left-arm spinner Denis Legay for an effortless six over extra-cover.

He then thumped Khan for another six over long-off

before edging a cut to Barnwell at slip at 114-5 as off-spinner Yatesh Dhanpaul got rid of the right-hander :

Sarwan also hit three fours in his 63-ball and 68 minute innings that saw score 40 runs ..... 8)

England allows him to go home and treat his condition in a professional manner.

Hillaire barked ably assisted by Opiss at Sarwan all the way to his parents home ...........

Re: Difference between Sarwan and Trott - Rev Al - 11-25-2013

* Ramnaresh Sarwan ended his test career with a very ordinary 40.01 average.

* But check his first class average---39.11

* What does that tell you ?

* It tells you that a batsman with ordinary first class numbers will always have an ordinary test career.

* NOW GO AND CHECK DARREN BRAVO'S FIRST CLASS AVERAGE.

http://www.espncricinfo.com/westindies/content/player/277472.html

* It will tell you how Bravo will perform in test cricket.

* Will he be ordinary or extraordinary ?

THE NUMBERS DON'T LIE.

Re: Difference between Sarwan and Trott - Kyle - 11-25-2013

Numbers cover up more than they reveal. Stats without context is meaningless. Although in this case, I agree that his career was far from spectacular.
HOWEVER, beggars can't be choosers, and 40+ is STILL good IMO. I'd take him in the test squad at least anyday.

Either way, you seem to be missing Ketchim's point.
