Unfortunately Obama represents the same economic interests as the likes of George W Bush. He did not represent genuine change in the true sense of the word.
The Americans need a labour party to offer a real alternative to the business parties.

america needs no Labour party to run anything. the time for political parties is over...
the american occupy movement demonstrated the way forward: spontaneous social uprising that creates new forms of social organisation, urgent, immediate and essential to meet pent up social need.
popular social movements in times of crisis manufactured by financiers and the march of technological advance has always spawned social advance, new, modern forms of social organisation. it is no different now save today for the first time there is enough general education about, and technological advance equal to the task of meeting all needs of the 7 billion alive.
which gives this current crisis importance of paradigm social shift...the current crisis contains the seeds of a shift from the long paradigm of exploitation society, back to forms of socialist or communitarian organisation of society at our very advanced stage of technological development..ending forever any possibility of the retention of exploitative social formations .
we are back to the ancient matriliny, a return to communal society but very advanced..and not really matriliny for there will be no female domination again but no domination of either sex..equality in the on-going earning of indefinite survival in nature...which is humanity's real question..now obscured by overwhelming zionist bulls***
no freakin' political parties. they form vested parasitical interest that society will have to fight at some point..like america..where all the parties are the same an seek to perpetuate the system that allows them all to live...which of course has nutten to do with the general interest.
the secret is in over-throwing the current dead, backward, murderous and genocidal status quo..how to form a society without such as parasitic political parties, bureaucracies, banks and corporations etc.
I trust the people in popular collective social movement creating means as they go to meet their needs, near and long-term. that's the answer..whatever they create as they go.
