To me it is not just the victories but the manner in which it was executed. Moving Shannon to deep third man and to immediately get the wicket would have been a great confidence boost for his captaincy.
Even against the kiwis, although they lost 2-1, they genuinely competed as they had not for eons.
Ramdin also seem able to make difficult decision for what he judges as in the interest of the team.

exactly. he declared on shiv. while his fans dont like it. he showed he has the leadership qualities to forego individual goalposts.
