While highly skilled jobs are still mostly offered to Westerners even though at nowhere near the lucrative contracts they once were, especially to white faces particularly Brits .....
..... the vast majority of unskilled workers from the subcontinent in 'menial jobs' can earn a fairly decent salary for their families back home in what are relatively poor working conditions while maintaining the economy and 'new image' of the UAE.
Look at the beautiful buildings in Nargis' pics .... built by Indian labourers ..
So I guess Krish .......it's all 'swings and roundabouts'...........
