Regardless of the policy of CWI no other cricket authority is ever enabled to operate as a power unto itself in any nation. And when necessary the political and legal system do step in to make sure it remains this way, regardless of ICC policy. But CWI is not only a power unto itself, it's also an ivory towered entity that takes no cognisant of any other stakeholder, not even the fans a la public backlash. Ipso facto not only has dysfunction become embedded but it has saturated the one component that should have remained above the fray - the selection committee. Windies cricket will continue to travel to nowhere as long as this state of affairs remain. And increasing numbers of our cricketers will seek to play their trade elsewhere as they have been and are doing.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
