That is why it is so unfortunate and ill-timed for a member of the WICB to be expressing displeasure at the involvement of spinner Sunil Narine in Sunday’s final, rather than a Windies training camp. The suggestion that he return home, or else his place on the team might be at risk, must be strongly condemned.
Once and for all, the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) must come to a firm understanding with its players about the matter of no-objection certificates (NOCs). This has long been a contentious issue, particularly with many senior players regularly having to choose between their commitments to the regional team and lucrative overseas T20 competition. For the most part, the 2014 IPL has not clashed with any major cricketing activities in the region. However, the IPL finals on Sunday are taking place on the cusp of the New Zealand tour to the region, with some warm-up matches scheduled over the next few days.
The full series doesn’t begin until next month, well after the end of the IPL.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Fairness and WICB are diametrically opposed.
What is their point?
Fools. Thought Muirhead would have exercised some common sense.
