www.trinidadexpress.com/news/53m-FLOTSAM-141380273.html

they cant get a simple ship purchase right, how do they go protect the people of Trinidad from lemons the car jerks are most likely sending to Titty.

the way I see cars crash in Titty..one driver running off the road so often...I get the sense that the cars demselves must be defective, shud be recalled for manufacturing faults

when I used to do business with Titty I noticed the  absolute crookedness that found expression for eg in plastic bottles for cooking oil.  one day I got such a bottle of oil about 10 inches from a heated burner on my stove and the bottle melted just like that..whoosh!  pouring the oil out that almost caught fire.

I was stunned and had to laff in the end...it was so funny, so exquisitely crooked..bobol from start to finish.  the plastic was useless, thin and vulnerable to the slightest heat

thats how I know Trinidad business...crooked from start to finish.  as a kid I bought some socks from Abouds in Port of Spain..usd a pair for a saturday night party..got really tight during the party and went out to the car to recuparate about 2 n the mawnin.

when I shook myself and got ready to go back into the party I checked myself, pulled up my socks and deh never stopped...deh stretched all the way past my knees. and when I let go deh fell around my ankles ::rofl:: ::rofl:: ::rofl:: ::rofl::

thats Trinidad!  if I go back there to live I walk with my own car or other vehicle..  I will not buy a car there if they gave it away for a dollar.

in fact I would participate in the local forrin-imports and local manufacturing market only where I absolutely could not avoid it.

in my time all anybody wanted to do in titty was to make money anyhow they could, no mattter who got hurt!  if anything has changed that ambient has  worsened.  yu pays your money and take your chances

the crookedness in the pruchase of those boats began form the conception of the idea of a water taxi fleet.

everybody associated with the government and every single project than emanates from government policies are ready to profit at all points along the way.

so the planners, finders, contractors, from the start, instantaneously would have been looking for cheap ships at little or no cost to sell to the government high. :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:

such as these found their ships in Turkey or wherever, dressed them up, repaired them so they would float just long enugh to get to Tiitty and work for a while then they go kaput. but by then the government would have forked out the sums to pay the original crooks.

but it does not stop there..the ships must be berthed, repaired, toted here and there..all manner of handling at high cost.  and the people pay all the while.  and the crooks are watching and feeding and setting up all along the way.

thats the way it is in Titty from start to finish.  crookededness, greased palms...BOBOL.  if yu have dificulty shaking a titty by the hand thats why.  their hands are too slippery to hold firm enuff for a handshake

and look...there are companies in Titty itself that can build boats like those.  if the government is serious about developing Titty they could contract the construction of those water taxis out to a Titty company, and so raise technology and employment levels... while securing proper boats for the local trade.

thats how Titty lives..the most counter-productive kind of social existence..like going for white Canadian policemen to run Trinidad police...the very same kind of men who racially profile blac people in the developed world...who shoot and kill blac men at will or otherwise lock them up and toss the keys.

disgusting!  if Titty did not have oil money it wud have been a bigger Antigua or St Vincent, Or Grenada..or Jamaica.  we have lucked out with the oil but we do not make good use of it.

we give the oil and gas away to the americans and their corporations at peppercorn prices.

and at some point these resources will likely run out. if and when they do Titty will sink like a rock in water, to the bottom of the list of backward countries in the world

and did yu not read properly what I said?

I began the story in my day back in Titty.  that was a long time before kamla.  yu are way too ethno- sensitive...and subsequently bline' to reality

by being so sensitive yu miss the whole point about the westindies...its basic killing reality..one reason I am loathe to go back home for in doing so I know the battles that await me.

the westindies is so supine to the white man that they accept anything at all from him..including loads ana loads of defctive product from his manufacturies that shud be dumped or recycled.

frequently products consigned to be dumped find their way into the westindian market and are sold as good products.

westindians die all the time now anddid in the past poisoned by bad imported food, harmed by chemicals and defective machines sent to the region for sale.

westindian governments have no infrastructure in place to protect westindians from defective manufactures in a world in which we know how deadly the corporations are in their production practices.

there are all manner of protective agencies for the people in the developed world for pharma products for example but none in the westindies. in the absence of such controls and protections do yu have any idea of the abuse that goes on?

I dont anymore but I can imagine given what wI used toknow.

so to protect myself were I to go back to the region I would have to developo an almost independent life, disconnected from the general reality around me, in order to survive.  I would have to grow my own food and turn to Cuba and venezueala for doctors and health requirements and medicines.

I look at the westndies as a guinea pig region, one on which all manner of crap is dumped...from manufactures to business practices.  westindians demselves join in on the carnival to rip themselves off and maintian a ridiculous social realty that is on a constant degrading slope..downwards all the way.

no matter how many big buildings go up in trinidad the social life on the ground is degrading.  it was degrading as  I became conscious of it as a child.  it was degraded before me...and it has continued all the way through my life.

and it is the same in all of the westindies.  from that very time I knew of jamaica as well and its horrible existence for its majority.  there has been no improvement for fifty years... indeed it has gotten far worse during my lifetime.

efforts were made by such as manley to change jamaicas reality and he paid with his life.

back then I felt Manly was poisoned by cancer for I have always known there are bacterial causes of cancer too and that the americans have likely weaponised it.  I felt that Michael Manley was exposed to prostate cancer, given the desease and died..murdered.

take a look today at Chavez in Venezuela and the Argentine president.  castro is lucky that Cuba was so isolated and the relationship so hostile they could never get anyone close enuff to him to do the deed.

its like ordinary people in the westindies,  those too poor to participate in the imported food market and are forced to eat locally grown bhagi, green fig, cassava,  dsheen and eddoes, hard local chicken and beef.

these dont know how lucky they are to be so poor that their diet as a result is saving them, and that is why they are still alive, physically hard, healthy and resistant to desease.

the minute deh get money and start to participate in that part of the life, are able to go to doctors and get their diagnoses and prescriptions and take those rather than traditional or bush medicine, they are toast, caught up in that which weakens and kills

that is one way, how being poor in a desperate reality can actually protect some people
