Eon Sinclair was born in 1981 in Toronto, Canada to Guyanese parents -

dude, growning up the country people were listening to Suriname radio instead of GBS and Radio Demarara! 

pass by Cappo & Chair house during that time and you hear the radio blasting with indian tunes!!!  :P

In 2013, John Agard was presented a Gold Medal for Poetry by The Queen of England.

The Queen aged well between 1969 and 2013 when she knighted Guyana's Luckhoo

I actually knew Ian McDonald ... he was a co-worker of my Mom at Booker Sugar Estates and was a regular visitor to our home.

The Mahasabha organization was able to convince PNC to ban Sparrow's Marajin.    Of course, the Maha Sabha was in bed with PNC during that time.  Banan was boss and obliged with the Ban!
